BCCI doubled annual retainershp amounts of cricketers for all categories

BCCI today doubled the annual retainershp amounts of cricketers for all categories. The Committee of Administrators met today and decided on the contracts for men cricketers for the period ending 30th September, 2017. Seven grade A cricketers comprising Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, R Ashwin, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja and Murali Vijay will be paid two crore rupees annually. Nine Grade B players, including Rohit Sharma, K.L.Rahul, Wriddhiman Saha and Yuvraj Singh, will be paid one crore rupees per annum. Sixteen Grade C players, including Shikhar Dhawan, Amit Mishra, Axar Patel, Ashish Nehra and Karun Nair will be paid 50 lakh rupees annually.The Match Fee for men cricketers has also been increased. They will be paid 15 lakh rupees per Test, Six lakh rupees per ODI and 3 lakh rupees for T20 International. The match fee increase will be effective from October last year.
