BCCI asks Odisha Cricket Association to submit report on unruliness during India Vs SA T20 match

The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Wednesday asked the Odisha Cricket Association to submit a report on the incident of the unruliness of the spectators throwing plastic water bottles at the playground and disrupting the T20 match between India and South Africa at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. BCCI chief Shashank Manohar has asked the OCA to submit a report within 48 hours. Reacting on the development, Odisha Cricket Association secretary Ashirwad Behera said that the association will submit the report as early as possible adding further that in future water bottles will not be allowed into the field.Earlier, presiding over a high-level review meeting in Bhubaneswar, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday had asked the principal secretary, Home, to probe into the unsavoury incident and submit a report within a month. He also directed the senior police officials to inquiry into under what circumstances the spectators were allowed to carry water bottles inside the stadium.
