Indian cricket squad for the upcoming Asia Cup T20 and ICC World Twenty20 has been announced. Mohammed Shami and rookie Pawan Negi have been named in the Indian team for World T20. Mahendra Singh Dhoni will continue to lead the Indian side. Others selected are Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Ajinkya Rahane, Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya, Ravichandran Ashwin, Harbhajan Singh, Jasprit Bumrah and Ashish Nehra. The Asia Cup is slated to be held from February 24 to March 6 and the World Twenty20 championship commences from March 8. As part of the preparations for the upcoming T20 events, the Indian team will next play a three-game T20 series at home against Sri Lanka from February 9.
