Board of Control for Cricket in India has set 4th of October as the deadline for nomination of state representatives for the BCCI Annual General Meeting.
The BCCI AGM-cum-election is scheduled on 23th of October in Mumbai.
The elections were earlier scheduled for 22nd of October, but was pushed ahead by a day due to Assembly polls in Maharashtra and Haryana. In New Delhi, BCCI Electoral Officer N Gopalaswami today said that the draft electoral roll will be released at 5 p.m. on 4th of October. The final electoral roll will be released on 10th of October.
The BCCI elections will mark an end to the tenure of the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators which has been administering the game since January 2017 and was mandated to implement the administrative reforms suggested by the Justice (Retd) R M Lodha committee.
