The party's senior leader C.Ponnaiyan announced the highlights of the assurances. Among the 164 announcements ,important highlights are providing housing for all, providing ration at home, amma washing machine,amma banking card, solar stove, land to journalists, 200 ml of milk, government job for one person per family, minimum support price for rice and sugarcane, 1500 rupees to women and six cylinders free, free laptops for students,one year maternity leave for government employees and many more assurances for the farmers.  Speaking to newspersons after the announcements, the joint co ordinator Edappadi Palanisamy  blamed the DMK for copying many assurances from the AIADMK.</span><br />
