In Himachal Pradesh the basic pension of Ex. MLAs has been increased from 10000 to 14000 on Monday. On the last day of the monsoon session, the bill regarding this was presented by Chief Minister Mr. Prem Kumar Dhumal and later on passed with the thumping majority. The EX MLAs will also get additional DA of 35 percent along with the pension. The traveling allowance of the MLAs has also been increased from 58000 rupees to 75000 per year.
