Baru’s book: Comments on PM just figments of imagination, says Cong spokesman

Congress has come down heavily against former media adviser to Prime Minister Sanjay Baru for his comments about Prime Minister’s office in his book ” Accidental Prime Minister”. Party spokesman Randeep Singh Surjewala said that the comments are just figments of his imagination. He charged Baru with selling canards to gain cheap publicity. He said Baru was removed as media adviser for his incompetence.

Expressing concern over newspaper reports that Narendra Modi is estimated to spend 10,000 crore rupees for advertisement alone, Surjewala said that black money is being channelized for this purpose. Speaking about Gujarat model, he pointed out that it is a toffee model that is based on crony capitalism. Saying that Narendra Modi favours a few industrial houses, who are given land at pittance, he pointed out that Government organisations such as Indian Oil and Indian Air Force are offered land at exorbitant rates in Gujarat.
