Bardhan stresses need to stop cultivable land going out of farmers hands

General Secretary of the Communist of India Mr. A. B. Bardhan has stressed the need to stop the cultivable land going out of the hands of farmers. He was speaking while inaugurating the 28th National convention of Akhil Bhartiya Kishan Sabha held at Aurangabad today. For the implementation of food security act in the country, the cultivatable land need to belong totally to farmers, he said.In this four day event delegates from within and outside the country as well as formers from various parts of India have participated.Farmers ‘suicides’, uncertainty of rains, loss caused to the crops due to inadequate or over rainfall, uniformity in wages for farmers without gender discrimination are some of the major points to be discussed in this convention . Meanwhile, Mr. Bardhan was feeling some what unwell due to fever today. He was also running fever and was demitted to a local private hospital immediately after his inaugural address of this condensation. According to the hospital sources his condition was stable.
