The Barcelona football star, Lionel Messi is facing a law suit in Spain over allegations of tax fraud. The State prosecutor for Catalonia said, the Argentine striker and his father owed more than five million dollars in unpaid taxes. Lionel Messi has denied the allegation and said, he was surprised by the news.In January, Messi was voted as the best player in the world for a record fourth year in a row. His Barcelona net salary is said to be some 16 million euros a year, making him one of the world's highest-paid athletes.
