The Bar council of India has strongly opposed the proposed national commission of higher education and research bill. Council’s chairman, Mr. Suraj Narain Sinha said in New Delhi that the proposed bill will directly affect the provisions of advocate act and make a way for foreign interference in legal education system of country. <br/><br/>He said that upgradation and transformation of legal education must be done but this should not be taken under the proposed bill and should be exempted as medical and agriculture education. He said that council will call on the Prime Minister and concerned authorities regarding this issue.<br/>
