In West Bengal, four more bodies were recovered today in yesterday's bus accident at Bankura district. The District Superintendent of Police, Mukesh Kumar said, with this six bodies have been recovered so far. The incident occurred when a passenger bus was washed away while it was crossing a flooded bridge over Bhairabbanki river at Bankura district yesterday. The ill fated bus was going to Durgapur from Jhargram. The district Superintendent of Police said that 43 passengers were rescued from the bus with the help of local people.The Chief Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee has announced reward for local people who swung into action for rescue operations, putting their life at risk.
