Leh is among the 75 districts across the country, participating in the Iconic Week celebrations in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.<br />''<br />''As part of the Iconic Week celebrations, the Prime Minister launched the circulation of new coins of various denominations with new 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' designs. He also launched a National Portal 'Jan Samarth' for Credit-Linked Government Scheme as part of the celebrations.<br />''<br />''In the programme organized by UT-Level Bankers Committee at Leh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sonam Choszor presented mementos to the best performing banks in social sector schemes. J&K Bank Zonal Head Dorjay Angchuk, SBI Chief Manager Tsewang Dorje, Leh SBI Chief Manager Farooq Ahmad Zargar and UTLBC Coordinator Tsering Morup were also present on the occasion. As part of the celebrations various banks have issued sanction letters to the customers, under different social sector schemes of the Union Government.</span><br />
