Bangladesh will maintain a balanced foreign policy: Foreign Minister Dr. Momen

<span style="color: black;">Bangladesh will continue to maintain a balanced foreign policy in view of its geostrategic location, says Foreign Minister Dr. A K Abdul Momen. Speaking at a programme organised at the National Press Club in Dhaka on Sunday, Dr. Momen said that the United States, China and India are powerful countries with whom Bangladesh must conduct its foreign policy in such a way that it leads to improved relationships with each of them. He said Bangladesh can't ignore any of these countries and it is maintaining a balanced role vis a vis both India and China. Dr. Momen said that Bangladesh has to move ahead maintaining a balance with both of them.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">He said Bangladesh is going through a golden chapter in its relationship with India. He thanked India for inviting it to the deliberations of the G 20 and its summit meeting. He is scheduled to visit the G 20 Foreign Ministers meeting in New Delhi on March 1 and 2. <br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">Speaking about the USA, Dr. Momen said that it is a major power with whom Bangladesh will need to pursue good relations. </span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">Dr. Momen further said that Bangladesh is promoting peace and stability in the region. He pointed out that  the countries which have ensured peace and stability are doing very well economically also.</span><br />
