<span style="color: #222222;">In Bangladesh, the nationwide strike of water transport workers was postponed today after a meeting between the workers union and the Directorate of Labour. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Bangladesh Water Transport Worker's Federation president Mohammad Shah Alam announced this in Dhaka today.<br />'' <br />'' The water transport workers had gone on an indefinite strike since last midnight to press home their 11 point charter of demands. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">They are demanding full implementation of the pay scale of 2016 and 10 lakh taka as compensation for workers killed in accidents on duty among others.&nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' Operation of passenger and cargo vessels was paralysed at Sadarghat, Khulna, Monga Chandpur ports and other places causing hardship to people and affecting business in the country.</span><br />'' &nbsp;
