Bangladesh is holding talks with neighbouring countries including India to import electricity and invest in power plants to make electricity available to every village in the country.<br />'' <br />'' Inaugurating four power plants with a capacity of 435 MW via video conferencing in Dhaka today, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the government is holding talks with India, Nepal, Bhutan and Myanmar to import electricity.<br />'' <br />'' She said that Bangladesh has imported 600 MW from India and it is planning to invest in Bhutan and Nepal. Discussions with Myanmar on the subject are continuing.<br />'' <br />'' Prime Minister Hasina said that Bangladesh is generating 22,000 MW of electricity and 93 per cent of people are under its coverage.<br />'' &nbsp;
