The COVID-19 situation in Bangladesh continued to show improvement as 1140 fresh infections were reported in the country on Wednesday. This is the lowest number of daily infections for COVID-19 in Bangladesh since March 14 when 1159 new cases were reported in a day. During the last 24 hours, 40 people succumbed to Corona taking the death toll to 12,045. The sample positivity rate was reported at 7.45 per cent.
