A maiden One-day century by Anamul Haque and a splendid bowling performance by Sohag Gazi and Abdur Razzak helped Bangladesh record its biggest ODI victory defeating West Indies by 160 runs in the second one-day international in Khulna on Sunday. With this win at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna, Bangladesh has taken a 2-0 lead in the five-match series having already won the first match at the same venue.Winning the toss, Caribbeans captain Darren Sammy invited Bangladesh to bat. The highlight of the Bangladesh innings was a 174 run partnership between opener Anamul Haque and skipperMushfiquir Rahim, which helped them reach 292 runs for the loss of six wickets in fifty overs. Anamul made 120 off 145 balls, featuring 13 boundaries and two sixes while Mushfiqur scored 79 runs in 87 balls which included eight boundaries and one six. Chasing the target of 293-runs, West Indies lost wickets at regular intervals and were bowled out for 132 runs in 31.1 overs.Sohag Gazi and Abdur Razzak captured three wickets while Mashrafe Mortaza, Mahmudullah and Naeem Islam took one wicket each for Bangladesh.Earlier on Friday, Bangladesh had defeated West Indies by seven wickets in the opening match of the series in Khulna. The third one-day match will be played in Dhaka on 5th December followed by fourth and final ODI on December 7 and 8 respectively.
