In Bangladesh, police have arrested 21 more people for their alleged involvement in the recent attacks on minority Hindu community in Nasirnagar upazila of Brahmanbaria district. Police said, the arrests were made during drives in Nasirnagar and adjoining areas last night after scrutinising the video clips of last month's attacks in which several temples and over 100 Hindu homes were vandalised.<br/><br/>With last nights's arrests, police have picked up a total of 74 people in connection with the attacks.<br/>Fisheries and Livestock Minister and Nasirnagar MP Sayedul Hoque has said, the Hindu fisherman Rasraj, now in jail, did not upload the anti-Islam photograph on Facebook over which the attacks took place. Talking to reporters, the Minister attributed the information to an intelligence report saying that the photo was posted from Dhaka.<br/><br/> He said, the image is now in forensic laboratory and investigations are on to nab the culprit.<br/>Three local ruling Awami League members have also been temporarily expelled from the party pending investigations into their roles in the attacks.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has asked the Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka to call on the Bangladesh Prime Minister and express India's grave concern about the safety of the Hindu community in the country. In reply to a request on Twitter to do something about the violence against Hindus, Mrs Swaraj said she has asked the Indian High Commissioner regarding this.
