Bangladesh PM returns Dhaka

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned to Dhaka on Thursday night after the completion of a six-day tour to South Korea and Malaysia. <br/><br/>Sheikh Hasina visited Seoul, the capital of South Korea during the first leg of her two-nation tour which began on May 15th. During her stay in Seoul, Sheikh Hasina held talks with Korean President Lee Myung-bak. <br/><br/>Bangladesh and South Korea also signed four deals which included one on an economic development fund loan, co-operation in energy sector and strengthening cultural ties. She also attended the 66th session of Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific during her stay in the city. <br/><br/>In the second Leg of her tour she visited Malaysia to attend the 66th World Islamic Economic Forum in Kuala Lumpur. <br/><br/>During her stay in Kuala Lumpur, she also held bilateral talks with her Malaysian counterpart Mohd. Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak. <br/><br/>The issue of legalizing Bangladeshi workers figured prominently during Sheikh Hasina’s discussions with her Malaysian counterpart. She also held a round table dialogue with Malaysian investors during which she urged them to take advantage of her government's favourable investment policy and invest in Bangladesh's potential sectors like power, energy, RMG, light engineering and infrastructure development.
