<span style="color: #222222;">Students and teachers of Jahangirnagar University in Dhaka organised the music concert 'Nodi Rocks Concert – Song of Rivers and Lives' yesterday to raise awareness about climate and rivers among students and youth of the country. Popular music bands of Bangladesh performed at the event. The bands performed songs on rivers of Bangladesh like Dahuk, Kushiara, Baluchar and others.<br />''<br />''Speaking on the occasion, vocalist Sharmin Sultana Sumi reminded the audience that the idea behind the concert was to make people aware of the real situation of rivers in the country. The first of its kind event in Bangladesh was supported by the embassy of Switzerland, UNDP and the government of Sweden. The event was jointly organised by JU Teacher Student Center, Jahangirnagar Cultural Alliance and Sazeda Foundation. </span><br />
