Bangladesh is considering opening up of new routes to India’s north-eastern states of Tripura and Mizoram to facilitate bilateral trade. Addressing a round table dialogue on India -Bangladesh relations in Dhaka on Saturday, the foreign Minister Dipu Moni said that Bangladesh is also considering opening up of border haats to enhance trade. She said that the three agreements which will be signed during Bangladesh Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina’s visit to India beginning from Sunday will greatly strengthen security co-operation. The two sides have already finalised three agreements on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, transfer of sentenced persons and a bilateral agreement on combating international terrorism in addition to an MOU on power sector which will be signed during the visit. Foreign Minister Dipu Moni said that Bangladesh is also considering suggestions to establish road and railway links on its eastern side with India.<br/>
