<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #000000;">The Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Department (CTTC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested a top functionary of the newly formed terror group Jama'atul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya.<br />''<br />'' Briefing media on Wednesday, the CTTC unit chief Md Asaduzzaman said that based on a tip off CTTC unit conducted a drive at Sayedabad bus terminal in Dhaka and arrested one Mohibullah alias Bholar Shaikh. Two mobiles and one laptop were recovered from him.<br />''<br />''The arrested militant is the Naib-e-Amir of the terror group. His main job was to deliver sermons to radicalise youth for Jama'atul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya. He had spent some time in Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT) region. The arrested militant used to coordinate with other key functionaries of the terror-group. <br />''<br />''Mohibullah worked in Dhaka, Sylhet and Kishoreganj regions to strengthen the organisation. He visited different madrasas in Bangladesh to collect radicalising material for distribution among recruits. <br />''<br />''The CTTC disclosed that Mohibullah was also an active member of the banned terror outfit Harkat-ul-Jihad Bangladesh (HuJI-B) as a student of a madrasa in Hathazari. He took 'jihadi training' with other members of the HUJI-B.</span><br />
