Bangladesh on Tuesday honoured India's former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi with country's highest honour the “Swantantrata Sammanana”. President Zillur Rehman presented award to UPA Chairperson, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, daughter in-law of Indira Gandhi at a special ceremonial function in Banga Bhawan at Dhaka . Presenting the award Bangladesh President Rehman said that it is a historic occasion.
