The High Commissioner apprised the Prime Minister about the forthcoming visit of President Ram Nath Kovind to Bangladesh to join the Victory Day Celebration marking the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Golden jubilee of independence, reports the official news agency BSS.<br />''<br />''High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami said that it is a special year and its significance is reflected in the fact that Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Bangladesh earlier this year and President Ram Nath Kovind will also visit the country in the same year. He said officials of both the countries are finalising the visit of President Ram Nath Kovind.<br />''<br />''He handed over  a rare photograph of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman taken in 1972 where he is seen taking a security personnel to his home for having lunch with him. She  said the relations between Bangladesh and India have reached a  new height and  significant progress has taken place in trade, business and tourism sectors between the two countries.</span>
