Bangladesh has put all its law enforcing agencies on the state of highest alert for preventing any breach of law and order during the ongoing hearing of Bangabandhu assassination case. State minister for home Shamsul Haque Tuku told reporters in Dhaka that 'evil forces' are trying to stop the final leg of the trial for the assassination of president 'Bangabandhu' Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the Supreme Court. All jails in the country have been put on red alert and security has been tightened at all key points and installations, in the capital and around the country. Security has also seen enhanced around the Indian High Commission in Dhakawith the deployment of additional security personnel and check posts. Ruling MP Fazle Noor Taposh, assisting the state counsels in the appeals proceedings, came under a bomb attack as he was leaving his Motijheel office by car on Oct 21. Six people have been arrested so far in the case and Four of them four are relatives of the convicts of Bangabandhu assassination.
