A three day long National Dance Festival will be inaugurated at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in Dhaka on Thursday. This is the first national dance festival being organised by the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in which 75 troupes from across the country will perform.<br />''<br />''Briefing media in Dhaka on Wednesday, the Director General of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Liaqat Ali Lucky informed that the academy has been working to create 75 original dance compositions for a long time. Each troupe has a minimum of 10 dancers while some troupes have 20-30 dancers and choreographers. Fifty groups have been provided financial support of Tk. 1 lakh while 25 troupes have been provided Tk. 80,000 each benefitting close to 1000 dancers who will participate in the festival.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The performances will take place at the National Theatre auditorium of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy while some organisations will also hold programmes in their respective districts.&nbsp;</span><br />
