In Bangladesh, a fire broke out Sunday morning at one of the sheds located in the Benapole land port in Jessore district . <br/><br/>Fire fighters are busy fighting to douse the fire which originated from a short circuit according to the Director of the port Nitai Chandra Sen. <br/><br/>Goods worth over 50 lakh takas located in the shed as well as several trucks parked in the are are feared to have been gutted. <br/><br/>Benapole is the busiest land port on the India-Bangladesh border through which over 80% of the bilateral trades passes.<br/> <br/>Over 1.2 million passport holders travel though the land port and over 1,50,000 trucks carry goods annually.
