Bangladesh ferry toll rises to 76

Rescuers have retrieved 20 more bodies after a ferry capsized in southern Bangladesh, taking the death toll to 76 with several people still missing. Local Police Chief Zakir Hossain said more bodies were recovered on Monday, three days after the MV Coco-4 overturned when packed with passengers heading home to celebrate the Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha. He said the death toll is now 76 including 31 children. Mr. Hussain said most of the bodies were found in very bad shape, floating on the river. He said based on reports from relatives a dozen people still remained missing.
