The government of Bangladesh has further extended the closure of all educational institutions till February 14. Earlier, the government had closed the educational institutions till January 31.<br />'' <br />'' Confirming this the official spokesperson of the Ministry of Education added that the Quami Madrasas in Bangladesh are exempt from this directive of the government.<br />'' <br />'' Educational Institutions in Bangladesh have remained closed since March 17 last year after the first Corona Positive case was reported in the country in March.<br />'' <br />'' The government has already announced the cancellation of examinations at the Junior School certificate and Higher Secondary levels.<br />'' <br />'' In the meanwhile, the death toll due to Corona in Bangladesh has gone up to 8087 &nbsp;with 15 deaths reported on Thursday. The total number of corona positive cases has also gone up to 5.33 lakh.<br />'' <br />'' The infection rate in the country has been keeping below 4 percent of the tested people over the last several days.<br />'' <br />'' The recovery rate has also gone up to 89.62 percent as per the latest figures released by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Thursday.<br />'' <br />'' The Government of Bangladesh has launched the COVID 19 vaccination program on January 27 to be followed by the nationwide vaccination drive from February 7 with the Oxford University-AstraZeneca vaccine produced by the Serum Institute of India (SII).<br />'' <br />'' 20 lakh doses of the vaccine has been gifted by India to Bangladesh while a commercial consignment of 50 lakh doses from SII has also arrived in Bangladesh earlier this week.&nbsp;<br />'' &nbsp;<br />
