Bangladesh elect to bat first against India

In the the Asia Cup cricket tournament, Bangladesh were 21 for none against India when reports last came in. Earlier Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. In the first match of the tournament, host Sri Lanka registered an exciting 16-run win over Pakistan at Dambulla. Srilanka set a target of 243 runs for victory but Pakistan could make only 226 in 47 overs in reply. For Sri Lanka Angelo Mathews remained not out at 55 while Mahela Jayawardene scored 54 runs and Kumar Sangakkara made 42. On Saturday team India will meet Pakistan and on Tuesday India will play against Sri Lanka .All India Radio will broadcast Commentary alternately in Hindi and English on 3 India specific matches and final match of the Asia Cup Cricket Tournament. The commentary can be heard on medium wave an FM Gold from 1400 hrs to 2230 hrs or till the end of the match.
