This is the lowest single day death toll in over two months. Bangladesh had recorded 77 deaths due to COVID 19 in a single day on June 26. The country also recorded 3436 new corona positive cases and 4861 recoveries on Saturday reducing the number of active cases to 54,432. The sample positivity rate increased from 12.78 percent on Friday to 13.67 percent on Saturday.
