<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #000000;">A day after  the Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm Mocha crossed the South Eastern coastline of Bangladesh, life has quickly returned to its normal pace in the country. The Cox's Bazar airport which was closed since the morning of 13th May resumed operations from Monday morning. Activities at the Chattogram port have also resumed which were closed since May 12 due to the cyclone warning issued by the Bangladesh Meteorological  Department of (BMD). Movement of all types of water vessels on the river routes has also started from the morning of Monday. <br />''<br />''Bangladesh was spared the major fury of the cyclone Mocha as it made landfall in Sittwe in Myanmar, about 60 kilometres away from its border near Teknaf. Disaster Management State Minister Enamur Rahman said on Monday that no loss of life was reported during the Cyclone Mocha which is a big achievement. Briefing media in Dhaka on Monday, the minister said that in Cox's Bazar, Chattogram and St. Martin Islands, close to 2000 houses were completely destroyed, while 10,000 houses were partially damaged. He said the no casualties took place as the government evacuated most of the people from the areas which were likely to be affected by the cyclone. <br />''<br />''The Office of the Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner (RRRC) said that 2826 Rohingya dwellings were damaged at Ukhiya and Teknaf camps due to the cyclone. <br />''<br />''Power Minister Nasrul Hamid said that gas supply will be restored in the affected areas within 2 days as one floating LNG terminal will become operational soon. Local administration in Cox's Bazar and other coastal areas affected by the cyclone has started the repair work of roads and electricity poles.<br />''Close to 7.5 lakh people who moved to cyclone shelters over the last few days have also returned to their homes.</span><br />
