Bangladesh Computer Council and Sylhet Metropolitan Police sign MoU

<span style="color: #222222;">Bangladesh Computer Council and Sylhet Metropolitan Police have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Sylhet to provide security in the town using digital techniques.<br />'' <br />'' Speaking as Chief Guest on this occasion Bangladesh State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak said that smart security system will play an important role to make it into a smart city. He said that the security system being implemented in Sylhet is at par with developed countries.<br />'' <br />'' Under the project Face Recognition and automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras are being installed in Sylhet City Corporation. These would operate under the supervision of the city police. It is also planned to develop 62 locations with 126 access points in the city for providing free wifi.<br />''<br />''Sylhet is being developed as the first digital city of Bangladesh.</span><br />
