Bangladesh is celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of Nobel laureate and great poet Rabindranath Tagore with a variety of programmes being organized across the country. Vice-President of India Hamid Ansari along with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had inaugurated the three-day programme of joint celebrations with India at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka on Friday. Apart from this Tagore’s birth anniversary programmes are also being organized in Tagore’s Kuthibari at Shilaidaha in Kushtia, Dakkhindihi Rabindra Complex at Fultala in Khulna and Pithabhog Rabindra Sangrahashala at Rupsha in Khulna.
