Bangladesh started the booster dose of COVID 19 vaccination in Dhaka on a limited scale from Tuesday. A few hospitals in Dhaka started administering the Pfizer vaccine jab for people above the age of 60 who had earlier received two doses of the vaccine. People already registered on the Surokha app of the government will get a message for the booster dose vaccination in specified hospitals of Dhaka. The process was started ten days back on Sunday last on an experimental basis which has now been integrated into the Surokha app for a specified group of people.<br />''<br />''Health Secretary Lokman Hossain told the media that the Bangladesh government has already secured purchase or donation of 31-32 crore doses of the COVID 19 vaccine from multiple sources.
