Bangladesh has defeated England by 108 runs in the Dhaka Test, to end the 2-match series all square. Resuming the third day at the overnight score of 152 for 3 in the second innings, the hosts were bundled out for 296 which gave England a target of 273.Chasing 273, the visitors got off to a flying start with a 100-run opening-wicket stand. However, they suddenly lost way and from 100 for no loss, were skittled out for 164 with 2 days still to play. Spinner Mehedi Hasan Miraz, who took 6 wickets in the first innings, scapled another 6 in the second. Shakib Al Hasan bagged four. Miraz was adjudged man of the match as well as player of the series. England had won the first Test at Chittagong by 22 runs.
