Bangladesh beat Australia by 20 runs

Bangladesh has defeated Australia by 20 runs in the first Cricket Test match at Dhaka. This is for the first time Bangladesh has beaten Australia and it is their 10th Test victory in their history. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was also in the stands to cheer for the home team.Shakib Al Hasan was the main architect as he took 10 wickets in the match and made crucial 84 in the first innings.Visitors had entered the fourth day today needing 156 with eight wickets in hand. Skipper Steve Smith and David Warner fought the morning session but later succumbed to spinners. Hosts had made 260 in their first innings in reply Australia could manage 217.In the second innings, the home side made 221 giving a target of 265 for win which the Australian side fell short by 20 runs.Bangladesh leads the two match series 1-Nil.
