Bangladesh Army Chief leaves for 3-day visit to India

<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #000000;">Bangladesh Army Chief General S M Shafiuddin left for India from Dhaka on a three day official visit on Wednesday. He is visiting India on the invitation of his Indian counterpart Chief of  Army Staff (CAS) General Manoj Pande. <br />''<br />''The Bangladesh Army Chief will review the passing out parade of the officer cadets in Chennai. During his visit, General Shafiuddin will also hold meetings with the Chiefs of Indian Army, Navy and Air Force and the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS). He will also pay courtesy visits to the Defence Secretary and Foreign Secretary during his visit to India.<br />''<br />''General S M Shafiuddin will hold discussions on a range of issues related to the bilateral relations between the armed forces of the two countries. <br />''<br />''He will also visit important establishments of the Indian Army, said an Inter Services Press Relations (ISPR), Bangladesh press release on Wednesday.<br />''Bangladesh Army Chief Shafiuddin will return to Bangladesh on 30th April.</span><br />

Bangladesh Army Chief leaves for 3-day visit to India

<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #000000;">The Chief of Army Staff of Bangladesh General S M Shafiuddin Ahmed left Dhaka for a three day official visit to India on Saturday by a special Bangladesh Airforce aircraft. He is leading a 8 member delegation during the visit. <br />''<br />''The Bangladesh Army Chief will hold meetings with the  National Security Advisor of India, Chief of Defence Staff, Chiefs of Army, Navy and Air staff, Defence Secretary and other senior military officials of India during the visit, said a press release issued by the Bangladesh Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).<br />''<br />''The Bangladesh Army Chief will discuss issues of bilateral importance to strengthen the cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.  He will also visit some of the defence establishments and National Defence College.<br />''<br />''Gen. S M Shafiuddin will also pay a courtesy visit to the High Commission of Bangladesh in India at Delhi. The visit will conclude on 8 September when he will return back to Dhaka.</span><br />
