In Bangladesh, at least 13 people including 6 women and a child have died as a launch capsized in Sandhya river in Barisal district in the southern part of the country this evening. 13 others are missing . Firefighters who recovered the bodies of the victims are still engaged in rescue operations for the missing. <br/><br/>The launch which was actually a trawler was ferrying 60 passengers from Banaripara upazilla of Barisal who were visiting relatives during the Eid vacation. Barisal Superintendent of Police S.M. Akhteruzzaman said the the launch capsized while its passengers started to disembark after it anchored at Dasherhaat point. A nine-member committee headed by Addl Deputy Commissioner of Barisal has been formed to investigate the incident.
