According to local media reports six temples were vandalised and several statues broken in the attack. The vandals had also beaten up the people in the village.<br />''<br />''According to one version, the incident started with a minor altercation between two groups of people on Friday night on the issue of singing Kirtan at the time of Namaz.<br />'' </span><br />''</span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: #000000;">Police officials and local administration reached the village after the incident and the situation was brought under control after deploying additional police forces in the area. </span><br />
