Bangalore Political Action Committee or B.PAC in short has launched Know Your Candidates Campaign in 27 Assembly constituencies of Bengaluru. It has released details of 115 candidates contesting the election in the city out of a total of 378 candidates in fray. B.PAC and DAKSH have conducted specific study about the criminal cases filed against these candidates and released a special report.<br />''<br />''It says that 38 of the 115 candidates in fray had criminal complaints against them pending before the courts. The cases are related to attempt to murder, cheating, corruption, electoral offences, land dispute, money laundering, murder, rioting, atrocities against SC and ST and unlawful assembly.<br />''<br />''In terms of educational qualification of these 115 candidates, three are post graduates, 21 are graduates, two are 12th pass, eight are 10th pass, three have not passed 10th standard and one is a diploma holder.<br />
