Normal life was disrupted in non-Telangana regions of Andhra Pradesh, as the bandh called by the All party Joint Action Committee (JAC) in support of United Andhra Pradesh began on Monday.<br/> <br/>The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has suspended its services across the Telangana, Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions as a precautionary measure. <br/> <br/>Commuters are facing hardships as over 8000 bus services have been suspended in theses regions and trains are being delayed at several places.<br/> <br/>Schools, colleges, shops and other business establishments also remained closed. <br/> <br/>In Chittoor district, except buses going to the temple town of Tirupati, all other services remained cancelled.<br/> <br/>The Convenor of all party JAC Prof Samuel said in Vijayawada that bandh has been called to send a clear message to the centre that majority of people want an Unified state.<br/> <br/>Meanwhile Chief Minister K Rosaiah and Telangana Rasta Samithi President K Chandrasekahra Rao have reached Delhi for Tuesday’s all party meeting on Telangana issue.<br/> <br/>The Chief Minister said that he would not take sides in the present situation during the all-party meeting in which he would attend only as the Chief Minister of the state. He is also scheduled to meet Central Ministers and party senior leaders prior to the meeting. <br/> <br/>Hectic parleys are going on among the leaders across party lines who are vertically divided on regional preferences.<br/> <br/>A meeting of eight political parties will try to devise a mechanism and roadmap to resolve the Telangana issue. The meeting has been convened by the Home Minister Mr. P Chidambaram on Tuesday. <br/> <br/>Leaders of Congress, TDP, TRS, Praja Rajyam, CPI(M), CPI, BJP and MIM from Andhara Pradesh have been invited to participate in the meeting. No political party has been able to evolve a consensus among its ranks on the issue. <br/> <br/>TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, arrived in Delhi last night to attend the meeting. Mr. Rao has made it clear that he will make a strong case for a separate state, the PRP chief Mr. Chiranjeevi says he will pitch for a united Andhra Pradesh. <br/> <br/>AIR correspondent adds that the Congress and the TDP are already under pressure from their leaders in Telangana and non-Telangana regions to stick to their stands.<br/>
