Bandh hits normalcy in Bihar

<br/>In Bihar, normal life has been hit during dawn to dusk state wide bandh called by RJD-LJP combine against fuel price hike. AIR Patna correspondent reports that vehicular and Rail traffic have been paralysed following protestors blocking roads and tracks in different parts of the state. No major violence has been reported so far.<br/><br/>LJP president Ramvilas Paswan alongwith over 400 bandh supporters courted arrest in Patna. Schools and most of the business establishments are closed.<br/><br/>Elaborate security arrangements have been made to foil band supporters disturbances Director General of Police Neelmani said the Police and Railways are coordinating to ensure smooth rail movement. He said railway stations have been provided additional security. The administration is trying to keep all links open between all major towns.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, LJP leader Ram Vilas Paswan said essential services including hospital, water supply and electricity have been exempted from the purview of the bandh.
