In Assam, a 60-hour Bandh called by the Autonomous State Demand Committee (ASDC) has brought life to a total standstill in the twin hill districts North Cachar Hills and Karbi Anglong for the third consecutive day today. The Bandh evoked total response in both the districts. Educational institutions, business establishments including banks, markets and shops remain closed. Government offices are also remaining closed. Roads wore deserted look as private vehicles are not plying.<br/><br/>The call for the Bandh is given by the Autonomous State Demand Committee (ASDC) to press their demand for creating an autonomous state comprising twin hills district of the state.<br/>
