In West Bengal, the normal life continues to be disrupted for the second day today following indefinite Dajeeling Hill bandh call given by the Gorkha Jana Mukti Morcha demanding Nicol Taamang to produce live before police custody who managed to escape from police and CID custody from Pintal village near Siliguri on Sunday. The bandh is so far peaceful and there is no report of any untoward incidents. The district police administration has made elaborate security arrangements in view of the on going bandh and keeping a close watch on the situation.
