In Nepal, normal life remained disrupted in various parts of the country today following a daylong bandh called by Nepal Addivasi Janjati Morcha in support of their various demands. <br/>In Kathmandu and its surrounding areas, shops, business establishments, and educational institutions remained closed and public transport remained off the roads, although some private vehicles were seen plying on the roads. Long distance buses and transport services remained badly affected. However, essential services including press vehicles were exempted from the purview of the bandh.<br/>
