In West Bengal, the meeting of six political parties of hill areas held in Darjeeling today resolved that the agitation for a separate Gorkha Land will continue till the demand is met.<br/> <br/>The meeting was attended by CPRM, Gorkha Rashtrya Nirman Manch, Bhatatiya Gorkha Parisangh, GNLF, and the BJP. However, the Gorkha League and Harka Bahadur Chettri's JAP decided to abstain from the meeting.<br/><br/>As the indefinite bandh called by Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) entered second day today, there ware clashes between agitating Morcha supporters and the police in Darjeeling city. Police resorted to lathicharge as GJM supporters pelted stones in various parts of the city after they were stopped from enforcing shut down in government offices. <br/><br/>Police pickets and barricades have been put up in front of government and Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) offices and various entry and exit points of the hills. <br/>
