Bandh call by Shiv Sena ‘ BJP in Pune peaceful

In Pune, barring some stone-pelting incidents, the bandh observed by Shiv Sena – BJP combine has been peaceful today. The bandh call has been given in protest against the removal of statue of Dadoji Konddev from historic Lalmahal place by Pune Municipal Corporation on Monday. Some activists have detained express trains at Lonawala this morning. However, Police have taken action and the rail traffic has been back to normal. Some city buses have been damaged by agitators.
