Bandh against firing paralyses normal life in Kashmir valley

<br/>Normal life in Kashmir valley is paralysed on Monday due to a bandh being observed against on Sunday’s firing incident in the city. One youth was killed and four others were injured in the incident. Police and paramilitary forces are deployed in large numbers and movement of people in downtown area of Srinagar city is being restricted. <br/> <br/>AIR Srinagar correspondent reports, concerned about recurrence of such incidents state chief minister Omer Abdul reviewed the situation at a high level meeting last evening. He ordered an enquiry into the incident.<br/> <br/>The SSP of Srinagar has also been transferred and police and paramilitary forces have been asked to exercise max mum restraint while dealing with law and order situation. The bandh called by separatists in protest against the incident is near total.<br/> <br/>All shops and business establishments and educational institutions are closed. Public transport is also off the roads. <br/>
