Ban calls for solidarity over political turmoil in Ivory Coast

On Saturday, African Union Commission chairman, Jean Ping, said a high level panel will be named to come up with a legally binding settlement of the dispute between the incumbent President and opposition candidate. It is not immediately clear whether the parties to the dispute would accept the proposal.
